Reiki for Kids

About the Appointment

Reiki on children is guided by the individual child, and can be look very different than on an adult.  Depending on the child’s level of comfort and preference, they can lay on a massage table to receive a traditional reiki treatment (best with older children or babies), or we can work reiki into a play-type setting in order for the child to receive the maximum benefit. For reiki to be received, the child must simply be in the same room with a practitioner, without interacting with her, communicating, or even being next to her.  The child can be occupied with activities such as  playing with cards, sound healing instruments, or coloring. As with all healing modalities, the way your child receives reiki will change as they become more comfortable and familiar with it.  Weekly or bi-weekly treatments are  recommended for the best results. Available for children up to age 13, those with disabilities & the elderly.
