Brainspotting is a powerful neurobiological (mind-body) modality that supports rapid and effective change. Requiring less sessions than other forms of therapy (e.g., EMDR). Brainspotting is feasible and simple. Brainspotting helps to identify and resolve root and core issues, so healing can finally happen. Common applications include: imposter syndrome, anxiety, phobias, creative and writer's block, sports performance, traumas, and so much more. Developed in 2003 by David Grand, Ph.D. Brainspotting (BSP) works with the deep brain and the body through its direct access to the autonomic and limbic systems within the body’s central nervous system. Brainspotting locates points in the client’s visual field that help to access unresolved trauma in the subcortical brain.
