What is an Ashtanga Mysore class? Mysore is the traditional way in which Ashtanga is taught, directly from teacher to student, and is one of the most effective methods to develop a consistent personal yoga practice. Our Mysore time slot is from 5:45am-7:30am.  Students may arrive quietly beginning at 5:45am and up to 6:30am. Beginners are recommended to come at 6:30am. Students move independently through their own sequence of postures that they have learned from the instructor.  Each student is able to work at their own pace through the timing of their breath.  The teacher provides guidance, assistance, and instruction as needed on a one-on-one basis. This practice is excellent for those working with injuries and mobility issues as the practice is individualized based on their needs as well as capabilities. Ashtanga is a powerful practice designed to purify the body, build strength, promote mental clarity, and help restore motion to joints while building a sense of discipline and achievement.
