About the Class

Welcome to GeGe's Restorative Yoga class, a sanctuary of deep relaxation, restoration, and healing. In this class, GeGe will guide you through a series of gentle and supported poses, using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to create a comfortable and soothing environment. The emphasis of this practice is on surrendering, letting go, and allowing your body to deeply relax and release tension. Throughout the class, GeGe will offer gentle cues and adjustments to help you find the perfect position for each pose, ensuring maximum comfort and relaxation. You'll be encouraged to find stillness and stay in each pose for an extended period, allowing the body to fully open and soften. As you settle into each restorative pose, GeGe will provide gentle guidance on conscious breathing and mindfulness. You'll be invited to explore a state of deep presence and connect with your body's natural rhythms, allowing for a profound sense of rejuvenation and restoration. Restorative Yoga is known for its ability to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting a state of deep relaxation and stress relief. It can help reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and support overall well-being. GeGe's class is specifically designed to create a nurturing and safe space for you to unwind and replenish your energy. No previous yoga experience is required for this class. It is suitable for all levels and can be especially beneficial for those recovering from injury, experiencing chronic pain, or seeking a gentle practice to balance a busy and stressful lifestyle.   Arrive in comfortable clothing and bring an open heart and a willingness to let go. Prepare to immerse yourself in a tranquil environment where you can find solace, relaxation, and a deep sense of well-being. Allow GeGe's guidance to support you on a journey of self-care and rejuvenation.
