This 8 week program is accessible and inclusive, and combines the latest in pain science and mind-body techniques, including the healing practices of yoga, to provide you with the skills to improve your wellbeing.
This program seeks to demonstrate how knowledge and movement combined, can alleviate pain, stress and disability. Yoga is integrated as a powerful tool in addressing persistent pain and aligns closely with modern pain science. It has been shown to improve function, reduce pain, and support mental/emotional wellbeing. This program is suitable for those experiencing persistent pain, seeking a complementary means of treating their pain. Sarah has over 13 years experience as a physiotherapist, working in different clinical settings in both Australia and abroad. Sarah values a holistic approach to pain physiotherapy, appreciating the values yoga can provide in this space. Hannah Tregea: AHPRA registered, endorsed health psychologist, and yoga teacher. Hannah has worked clinically as a psychologist in various persistent pain settings across Australia, for over 12 years. She is passionate about the mind-body connection and is excited to take psychological therapy beyond the clinic, and combine the wisdom of yoga with the science of psychology.
