About the Event

The Beginners - Level 1 Course provides a thorough introduction to the traditional and holistic system of “Yoga in Daily Life”, and also offers support for your ongoing learning and practice. The Course is the first step on a journey to good health, vitality and a peaceful mind. It is a practical experience of gentle preparatory Yoga postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation, that provides foundations for the classical Asanas of the further levels. Suitable for beginners of all ages and abilities as well as for regular practitioners who wish to refresh their knowledge. What you will learn: - Gentle yoga exercises to stretch and strengthen your body - Relaxation techniques to de-stress your body & mind - Breathing practices to balance the nervous system - Basic meditation techniques for peace of mind - Introduction to the philosophical background of yoga practice

Special Instructions

Meets once per week for six weeks. We kindly ask you to bring your own yoga mat. There is possibility to rent a mat for $5 in our centre or buy one in our shop. We provide cushions, meditation stools and blankets.
