ELEMENTS YIN + NIDRA Inspired by the Elements Air & Water Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative practice with long, deep holding of passive seated and laying poses. Poses are typically held for 3-5 min - Using mindful muscle relaxation, Yin targets the connective tissue nourishing joints, ligaments, and deeper layers of fascia. This class is perfect to complement a more vigorous yoga practice, strength training & other activities like running & cycling. A wonderful way to offset stress and balance busy bodies. This class ends with a Yoga Nidra (aka. yogic sleep) is an immensly powerful meditation technique where the student rests in savasana (corpse pose) while allowing the mind to enter into a deeper state of consious relaxation.
