This is a 60 minute Hatha Yoga class. Hatha yoga is one of the oldest forms of yoga. It is a practice that is known to be 5000 years old! A Hatha Yoga class focuses on alignment and breath whilst entering, holding, and leaving the posture. Regular, continual practice of Hatha Yoga improves flexibility, strength, and balance. It also helps to lower stress levels and promotes relaxation. It eliminates over-thinking and helps promote positive self-awareness. This class will start with some gentle breath work. Be sure to arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes before your class so you can set up comfortably. Don't forget your yoga mat and plenty of water!
