About the Class

A class experience of two different energies, Yin and Yang. We will tap into our Yang energy to start the class as we welcome vitality and heat to our body and breath. We will achieve this through Yoga flows and bold movements. Our Yin energy is cool and calm which invites us to rest as we enter the second half of our class. Most Yin postures are executed on the floor and held for minutes rather than breaths. As the body temperature cools, the heart rate lowers and we can enter a state of quiescence.  Yoga mat, pillows and yoga blocks are recommended.
