Yin yoga is a compliment to our yang practice.   It is a practice of sensation where we hold poses over time in stillness.   It works not only with the physical body but also the energetic nervous system taking the body out of the fight and flight response to a more relaxed and restful place.   The Yin practice is accessible to people who have never practiced yoga before.   It is helpful to wear loose clothes , socks and bring a blanket and pillow to support you .
