Tara teaches a gentle style of yoga that concentrates on the breath and alignment of the spine with postures that are modified for each student’s needs. Her aim is to help students to find their own personal time for reflection and release in an increasingly busy world.Tara holds a British Wheel of Yoga accredited diploma, having completed her 500-hour sadhana mala yoga teacher training in 2013, and is due to finish a course in the sadhana mala art of individual teaching in October 2015.Her personal yoga is a deeply healing practice based on awareness of breath, comfortable body mobility and structure of pose, with a connection to mind and spirit that creates a confident presence in life.For Tara, yoga has helped her deal with a chronic back complaint, poor posture due to an Achilles injury and a life-saving operation. Mentally and emotionally, Tara sees yoga as an opportunity to feel supported and to develop a better understanding of ourselves and of life in general.Tara lives in Tring with her husband, two young girls, crazy Labrador and other animals. She runs a business from home as a personal assistant for some truly remarkable people, who keep her inspired and close to the heart of life and its demands.
