In Vin Yin we combine two distinct yet complimentary yoga practices: Vinyasa (VIN) and Yin Yoga. The Vinyasa flow is a focused dynamic flow with fluid movements and breath synchronization. This part of class helps to warm up the body, build strength and improve flexibility. It last about 30 minutes allowing the partcipants to release tension, increase energy and prepare for the slower portion of the class. We transition into Yin Yoga for a deeply relaxing and restorative practice. We hold the poses for an extended period of time (3-5min) to target the deeper connective tissues, encouraging a gentle release and flexibility seeking a holistic blend of movement, stillness and surrender.
