Acupuncture and Sound Bath

CLOSED

About the Class

You'll be guided with breath work, and restorative yoga poses to relax deeply into a sound bath. The sound bath is created with quartz crystal bowls, and live vocal layers to restore internal balance and harmony. This session will complete with an acupuncture treatment for each participant (spots are limited) for a transformational and healing experience.   Acupuncture is the practice of inserting thin, sterile, single use needles into strategic points on the skin. Acupuncture promotes circulation, brings the nervous system out of fight for fight, disrupts the pain cycle and can help with the regulation of many internal processes. During the sound bath portion, in a supported shavasana, there will be a total of 5 acupuncture points needled: one on the head, one on each wrist and one on each ankle. The point at the crown of the forehead will be used to bring the body into deep rest by calming down the mind. Next will be an acupuncture point by the side of the wrist used to settle the heart down and also increases the capacity for joy.  By the inner ankle will be a Kidney point that supports the adrenal function to decrease panicked feelings and boost up overall energy in the body.
