About the Class

The practice of Hatha yoga asks us to slow ourselves; slow our bodies, our brains, our emotional centers. In this Hatha class, we use our practice to unearth a deeper truth and deliberately step into the thoughts and feelings that our physical sensations inspire. Hatha links breath to movement with a focus on basic alignment, creative sequencing and embodied awareness. Focused yet fun, piercing and playful, challenging and changing, Hatha will help students create a solid foundation upon which they can witness their practice flourish.
