About the Class

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time, typically ranging from 1 to 5 minutes.  These poses mainly target the connective tissues such as the ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles.  It aims to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility.  The practice often incorporates mindfulness and meditation techniques, encouraging practitioners to cultivate a deep sense of relation and inner awareness. 

Special Instructions

Please arrive 15 minutes early if you are new to class.  If you are already enrolled in the class please make sure to arrive at least 5 minutes early.  Once the class starts, you will not be permitted to enter the room.
