The traditional 90 minute Bikram yoga class that includes a fixed sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Practice begins with pranayama deep breathing to focus the mind and energize the body and then systematically massages, stretches and stimulates every muscle, gland, and organ in your body. The hot room is heated to 105 degrees, with 40-50% humidity—so, expect to sweat! Regular practitioners of this method gain strength, flexibility, and balance and often report more peace and focus outside the hot room. This class is for all levels of fitness or experience.
