Danielle is a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour yoga teacher, level-1 meditation teacher, and certified personal trainer. She has over 20 years of experience teaching modern ballet and contemporary dance. Danielle has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching yoga since 2019. In that time, she has led both classes and workshops consistently throughout the tri-state area. Her goal is to create an inviting space where everyone has a home to be uniquely YOU. Danielle has studied and explored many different forms of movement and mindfulness including meditation, yoga, dance, strength training, animal flow, martial arts, sound healing, ariel, and trapeze. Her classes aim to combine these influences, while honoring the roots of tradition. Classes will foster the opportunity for the student to learn something about themselves, while calming their nervous system and strengthening the mind and body. Danielle believes in always having fun, being playful and challenging yourself! She believes in finding ways to heal your mind and body with the natural superpowers that we carry around within us 24 hours a day. Danielle adamantly believes this practice is for every human being. One of her goals is to create a space where people have the opportunity to find the movement that speaks to their soul that day. She comes from a place of passion and a humbling compassionate place of injury. Combining music and movement, Danielle was able to overcome a debilitating ankle injury in 2019. She credits yoga in part for her recovery. The experience has deepened her practice and her determination to share her passion with others. It took Danielle a very long time to find her voice and own exactly who she is. Through the practice of yoga, she found her higher calling… sharing movement with others. Her highest hope is to help others achieve this as well in their own time, on the mat or the dancefloor! Our yoga practice serves to create space in those areas of life where we may be stuck. Danielle’s class offers creative sequencing and modifications to fit any body. She encourages her students to be fearless with the opportunity to try something new and feel supported while moving through their personal journey. Come to her class for healthy, purposeful fun with a like-minded community! You will push yourself in ways you never thought possible, and pause for stillness you never knew you needed. Danielle believes that in every practice there is a place and space for everyone.
