Let’s dance! About Ellen:   Ellen began practicing yoga 40 years ago under the guidance of Bikram Choudhury. She received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance teaching certification in 2008 from Empowered Yoga/ Verge Yoga and began teaching hot yoga at Empowered Yoga in Delaware. A meditation practice naturally evolved and she was subsequently certified to teach Mindfulness-Based Meditation by David Nichtern and Cyndi Lee after completing OM Yoga’s first Meditation Teacher-Training program in 2011.  Ellen’s practice and study led her onto the Buddhist path and she is immeasurably grateful to her teachers. She has practiced and studied under Her Eminence Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche; Scott McBride; and has also received teachings from the Dalai Lama, Pema Chodron, Venerable Kenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche, Venerable Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche, Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche and Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. As a young adult she explored and was magnetically drawn to Taoism and its forms and has now come full circle as a student of Qi Gong Master Lee Holden. Ellen has begun to teach Qi Gong under his guidance as of 2024.  Ellen loves the natural world, hiking in the woods and swimming in the ocean, being with family and friends, and being alone. She loves music and silence. This is a donation based class. Suggested Donation is $12
