In-Studio Experience | An adventurous class designed to inspire and challenge yogis of all abilities. (65 Minutes, Non-Heated Room) Yoga Sculpt is a full-body workout that incorporates elements of core conditioning, strength training, Pilates and Barre moves. Low-to-no impact, joint-friendly exercises are paired with small range, controlled movements to tone muscles and increase strength. Instructors may use weights, bands, sliders, blocks and balls in any given class. Get ready to feel the burn! This class is designed to develop total strength, power, muscular endurance and conditioning (aerobic, anaerobic, metabolic). Though there are many benefits to Yoga Sculpt training, the application of our classes will lead to: Improved heart, bone, and lung health Improved flexibility Reduced risk of injury Improved body composition Improved resting metabolism Improved strength Yoga Sculpt – Where Namaste Meets Sweat Think of this as yoga’s sassier cousin. We’ll flow, pulse, squat, and plank our way through a fiery sequence that blends classic yoga poses with strength training and bursts of low impact cardio. Expect dumbbells, resistance bands, and a killer playlist to keep you moving (and maybe singing between breaths). You’ll leave feeling strong, sweaty, and just the right amount of smug about all those burpees you didn’t skip. Students are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, cool water and a towel to keep sweaty brows dry.
Students should bring a yoga mat, a towel large enough to cover the entire yoga mat, and cool water with a lid. Clothing should be fitted. It is not recommended to wear baggy shirts, sweaters or socks. With a consistent practice, you can expect to strengthen and reshape your body, reduce symptoms of chronic disease, experience increased energy, mood, and mental clarity, sleep better, and become more fully alive.
