This blocks the flow of nutrients and energy through the body, causing pain and limiting mobility. Yin Yoga offers a great way to begin a yoga practice, one that can branch out in many directions, one that can last for the rest of your life. Yes, beginners definitely can start their yoga journey with Yin Yoga. Classes are taught in a non-heated room with low lights, creating a zen-like experience. The postures are more passive, on the floor, where gravity wins, teaching you to surrender and let go.
