About the Class

This is an interactive class combining Chinese medicine, meridian theories, and acupressure with traditional Yin yoga. The instructor will offer optional hands-on assistance (with your consent) during this class.   The Yin practice cultivates flexibility by lengthening the body’s tissues slowly over time. The longer-held postures provide recovery from the body's daily activities.   In addition to these benefits, you will learn from Tina how to stimulate meridian points in your body to help release energy flow and create an overall feeling of well-being.  Breathing and meditation techniques allow a deep connection between your mind and body.  Props will be used as needed, and options will be provided to help adjust the shapes for your individual body. 

Special Instructions

Bring your own yoga mat if you have one - other sanitized props are provided. House mats are available to borrow if needed.
