While Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues that lay underneath the muscles via (mostly) floor-based poses, the “Restore” half of this class targets the deep relaxation receptors in your mind and body. The Yin portion will still reach deep into those normally hard-to-reach ligaments and joints, while the Restore portion will use props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets to ease into—and stay—in each pose. Poses still last at least 3 minutes, and as many as 5 minutes or longer. There are so many benefits to combining these two styles—including increased flexibility in your joints and ligaments… and a peaceful and relaxed and centered state of mind. This one is truly delicious! ALL LEVELS.
