This class will take place outside in the green space north of the building near the softball field and the pool. In the case of inclement weather, this class will move back inside to the “party room” (located directly right when you walk in the building). Yinyasa blends two styles of yoga, vinyasa and yin, into one practice - bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures resulting in a well balanced practice for the mind, body and spirit. Vinyasa is a more active practice working on muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina, and flexibility. Yin yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held longer to work on the deep, dense connective tissues and joints in the body. This deep practice is gentle, yet intense, helping to increase the range of motion and stimulate energy flow.
