Don't let the chair fool you, this is a great class to improve flexibility and strength. A blend of Yoga, Pilates, and Barre, you will practice both sitting in the chair or standing, using the chair as a prop for balance. Your instructon will incorporate light weights, bands, and the Pilates ball to strengthen & tone the muscles, as well as lead you through Yoga poses to improve flexibility and balance. This class is most beneficial to those who don't feel comfortable moving from standing to sitting on the floor, or have issues with lying down on the mat, due to vertigo, injuries, as well as other restrictions. However, it is a great classs for our regular yogis to change up the scenery and practice in a different way.
