Open Doors Yoga - Duxbury
Danielle Ferreira first discovered yoga and fitness classes in 2006, shortly after the birth of her son. With a background in ballet and dance, many yoga poses came easily to her, though she initially didn’t fully appreciate all that yoga and fitness had to offer. When she moved to Duxbury, Danielle rediscovered yoga and became part of a wonderful community. It was during this time that yoga became more than just a workout or stretching; she finally connected her mind and body through breath, movement, and meditation—a breakthrough moment in her journey. After dedicating herself to daily yoga practice, Danielle decided to pursue yoga teacher training, choosing a 200-hour program at YogaBody in Barcelona, Spain. Traveling to Barcelona twice on her own was a transformative experience, changing her body, mind, and igniting her love for learning.Danielle is passionate about bringing yoga and overall fitness to others, helping them develop strength, balance, and flexibility. She emphasizes the progression of skills through breath work, enhancing the mind-body connection. This shift in her career has been a true blessing, and Danielle is eager to share everything she’s learned with her students.
