About the Class

Balanced Arts Tai Chi teaches traditional and modified Tai Chi with an emphasis on brain and mental health. As a proven, time-tested, and scientifically backed practice, Balanced Arts Tai Chi leverages the benefits naturally produced by Tai Chi’s meditative and mindful foundations. Students do NOT have to take classes consecutively, they can be taken as one-off’s/drop-in’s as desired. In this class, students will learn and practice seated, standing, and walking forms—simple yet dynamic exercises for physical health and emotional self-care. Clients and students typically adopt Tai Chi into their wellness regimen for stress management, nervous system regulation, and emotional healing. Tai Chi’s gentle, low impact mind and body exercises incorporate graceful, relaxing movements that help realign physical, mental, and emotional balance. In this class, students learn self-care via a four-step pathway: Calming Grounding Letting Go Creating This course meets Mondays from 7:45pm to 8:45pm and is offered HYBRID.
