Have you forgotten? Your voice is mighty! We chant and sing to bring ourselves back to life, to remember our true nature, to grieve, to praise, to connect, to release. And do it all with honor. We chant as an offering or a plea or to heart-fully celebrate another day where we find breath in our lungs once again! Mantra and song are powerful technologies for healing and spiritual practice in nearly every culture around the world. Group chanting can help to widen our perceptions beyond the limits of the egoic mind, open the heart and enter into a group meditation or prayer. In our time together we seek to connect and transform pain and anxiety into medicine and fortification for ourselves and all beings. In each series we will focus on a few different mantras and/or bhajans so there is adequate time to fully learn and explore their richness. This course will be presented in person. Attendance at each gathering is encouraged but not required. All are welcome, especially those who feel blocked, injured or insecure in any matters relating to the throat chakra, communication or singing. Please bring: a notebook and water, Mala or rosary-style beads (if you have them)
