This class will use yoga and contemporary techniques to re-ignite and nurture connection between the body and the brain. In this practice, we will create the sense of equanimity and peace in your body and mind. We will teach the body and the brain to communicate effectively, so there is no inner conflict between the two. (This conflict causes disease.) We will re-learn the ability to rest restoratively, and to re-ignite your drive and passion without stress and exhaustion. Each session will begin with simple, yin-like movement (minimal effort) and somatic manipulation, continue with pranayama, and will be finished with yoga nidra and meditation. You will feel relaxed and learn to connect your physical with your spiritual. You will leave feeling restored, integrated, and re-fueled.
