Stephanie started practicing yoga during college as a way to manage stress and then dove deeper into her practice in 2012 as a way to supplement her marathon training and to keep her injury free. Leveraging her athletic background, Stephanie teaches a faster paced power yoga style class, complimenting muscles with strengthening and lengthening throughout class. She intends to build pace and intensity mindfully throughout class and will always offer modifications for students who want to add or subtract difficulty in poses. Stephanie completed her 200 hour teacher training at Core Power Yoga in the West Loop of Chicago in 2016 as well as her Hot Power Fusion teacher training at Core Power in Cary in 2020. When Stephanie isn't teaching yoga, you can find her out on a run, on a walk with her golden retriever and husband, or traveling to new cities/countries.
