About the Class

The Roots of Stillness A meditative practice of grounding and patient growth. In our Moon Room, we use floor-based postures to access deep tissues without external heat. We begin with the breath to signal the brain to let go. You will be encouraged to find your “edge”—the point where you feel a significant stretch but no pain—and stay there. Through long holds, you learn to breathe through discomfort, cultivating the mindfulness to know the difference between the body opening and the body needing a break.
