About the Class

 * Great for beginners!   Aligned Flow® combines Iyengar inspired alignment with the heat build flowing-with-the-breath sequencing of Vinyasa. Classes include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation. Beginner yoga is suitable for both the first time student and any student interested in becoming further rooted in the basics of yoga. Each class is a breath centered blend of poses aimed toward opening channels in the body through proper alignment. The actions in each pose are ones that can be translated into any yoga class, enhancing and building the student's understanding of more challenging poses.
