About the Class

Yin Yoga is sometimes called passive yoga. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes on the ground. The intention is to safely and appropriately stress your connective tissues (ligaments & fascia). In doing so, the body adapts to the demands on these tissues and increases range of motion. This healing practice benefits both body and mind. These deep long holds detoxify physically, energetically and mentally.  You will develop concentration, tolerance and surrender as you dive deep into your postures. The result of this kind of practice is heightened clarity and restfulness. What a nice way to end your work day and ready for a peaceful sleep!
