Join Melissa for this special class series that will work with building deep strength through therapeutic movements, Yoga asanas, free weights, and resistance bands. After age 30, we begin to lose 3-8% of muscle mass each decade. By the time we are between the ages of 50-70 years old we could lose up to 30% of our peak muscle mass. This loss of true strength impacts the health of our bones, joints, overall energy and functional movement. This class will bring together the best of both worlds - Yoga and resistance work to improve lean muscle mass. Sometimes music will be included along with some full body rhythmic movements to support bone and muscle strength. Each class will begin with a gentle warm up and complete with relaxing stretches. Livestream classes are offered through Zoom. You may join the class up to 10–15 minutes before the start time through your account or by using the link we email you. We will send students a link to the recorded replay with two weeks unlimited access.
