This powerful, healing practice is a specific sequence of postures (asanas) linking breath (pranayama) and movement (vinyasa.) Ashtanga is an athletic flow combining strength, flexibility and stamina for a complete practice.   This specific class is a variation of the traditional Ashtanga 1st series.   Enjoy an extra long rest (savasana) at the end of class with a guided meditation.
