WHAT TO EXPECT? Vinyasa is the alignment of movement with breath. Your teachers will take you through a creative sequence of postures and you’ll move to the beat of your own breath. At Second Wind, we take this seriously... but we also like to keep it fun. We start slow, we end slow, and everything in between feels like a wee bit of a dance. It’s all about fluid, repetitive movement that gets your heart pumping and muscles working. QUESTION YOUR SKILL? This is an all-levels gig! Whether you’re just figuring out your left from your right or you’ve mastered a one-handed handstand (yes, we see you), we've got options. Need modifications? We’ve got them. And don’t worry, we always end with a sweet surrender series of deep stretching and, of course, the sacred nap... savasana. HOW HOT? Think “toasty” not “Bikram” or “steam-room-level-sweatfest.” We keep the room at 90-95 degrees to warm up those muscles and let the yoga bring the glow, not just the room temp.
