About the Class

This Class is perfect for brand new beginners, as well as any level of practitioner who wants to have the time and space to relish the fundamentals and explore new asanas with creativity and playfulness. Each class will include warm-ups to ensure joints are prepared as well as a detailed breakdown of the primary asansas (Sun salutations, standing poses, gentle backbends, twists and/or forward bends) with care. The pace is slow and steady allowing you to build heat and strengthen your body while keeping the nervous system deeply relaxed. Props are encouraged to allow you to easily find the space and essence of each pose, regardless of any injuries or physical limitations, while various options will be given to allow you to deepen the poses as your practice allows. While poses will be broken down to ensure safe and steady alignment, the breath will remain a central focus and anchor, as we move through our poses.
