About the Class

In Vinyasa Yoga we move with the breath, linking each transition into a pose, as well as out of a pose, with breath, and utilizing the breath to go deeper in any held poses.   In this Open level class students will move through a well rounded series of Traditional Sun Salutations and  various standing poses, as well as some combination of back-bends, balance poses, twists and forward folds depending on the focus of the class.  Proper alignment will ensure that students are safe and comfortable in their bodies, while the focus will be on maintaining a steady and easeful breath, while we find a balance of effort and ease in each posture.  Practitioners of all levels are welcome, and modifications will be given for any injuries.
