About the Event

Fabric Flow: Transitions & Character Work    Find your voice and explore character through use of transitions on aerial fabrics. This workshop is designed to help you explore movement to take your sequence or act to the next level. We will explore the use of  transitions to guide your storytelling and character work. This can be from the ground into the hammock, in the air, choose your own adventure, and let your self-expression shine!    Students should come with some ideas in mind: that can be a sequence they have been working on, an old act, a concept, character, or movement style they are excited about exploring.    Requirements:   - Able to invert in the air or standing in hammock - Able to put on footlocks in the air (silks) - Able to hipkey on both hammock and silks  - Able to pullover on hammock unassisted - Able to complete 3 Advanced Beginner sequences in a row
