About the Class

Hatha Flow, deriving from the Hatha Yoga Pradapika, is for an intermediate practitioner familiar with our Vinyasa Flow classes. The word Hatha translates to “force”. Another translation is sun (ha) / moon (tha). Hatha Yoga is the root, where all other forms of yoga have derived from. We will move through intermediate level postures to balance our right and left sides - (masculine/feminine) - (sun/moon). The pace of a Hatha flow class is slower than Vinyasa, while keeping with the more physically challenging asana. We'll hold our asanas for a longer time and incorporate deep stretches throughout class. Class will end with a guided meditation, where you'll be able to fall into a deep relaxation following our physical practice.
