About the Class

This class is just like our Bikram Yoga 90 min class. Yet, since it's a SILENT/SELF PRACTICE class less instructions/dialogue are given. Therefore its only 75mins Long. Enjoy this class while listen to relaxing music.. Bikram Yoga Class  is a series of 26 traditional hatha yoga postures designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles ligaments and tendons in the order in which they should be stretched.  Bikram Yoga's 26 posture sequence systematically moves fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of your body, to each organ, fiber and cell restoring all systems to healthy working order just as Nature intended..  Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health and a sense of well being will automatically follow.   YOGA WAIVER AGREEMENT This waiver is to communicate in an open and honest way the risks of participating in our classes and have you release Bikram Yoga Yorktown LTD of any liability.  Please be aware that if you do not sign this Waiver and agree to its terms, we will not let you participate in our classes. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, UNDERSTAND FULLY, AND ASK QUESTIONS IF ANYTHING IS UNCLEAR. BY SIGNING THIS YOU AGREE YOU ARE SIGNING AWAY YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. Parties. We will refer to Bikram Yoga Yorktown Heights LTD, registered in the State of New York , as Bikram Yoga Yorktown “us” or “we” and we’ll refer to you, the undersigned (electronically or by hand) or person who has clicked “I Agree” to this Waiver, as “you” or “your”. The Activities. You will be participating in classes at Bikram Yoga Yorktown. We offer a variety of hot yoga, Pilates,all of which may involve but are not limited to the following activities body weight exercises, yoga poses, stretching, dynamic movements, breathing and meditation. The constant in all of these classes is that the activities involve moving in full ranges of motion, flexibility, strength and postural training. Some of the classes may take place in a heated room (the range of heat for hot classes is between 90°F/32°C and 105°F/41°C). Inherent Risks. You understand that participating in the Activities poses inherent risks.Injuries include but are not limited to things like muscle tears, strains and other musculoskeletal injuries, sprains, broken bones, cardiovascular complications, heat exhaustion, dehydration, dizziness and fainting. The risks listed above in this provision may result in serious harm. Injuries may change your quality of life and, in very rare and extreme circumstances, may even result in death. You'll progress at your own pace and will listen to your body. If at any point you feel overexertion, pain or fatigue, you will rest and tell the instructor. You acknowledge these risks and agree to participate in the Activities to the extent that it is safe and reasonable for you to do so. Affirmation of Health. By participating in any Activities at Bikram Yoga Yorktown, you affirm that you have sought medical advice regarding your fitness to practice yoga, Pilates.  COVID-19 / Infectious Disease. You acknowledge every time you participate in the Activities you are affirming that you are healthy and able to engage in practice and are not at an increased risk due to COVID-19. Voluntary Assumption of Risk. You have read this Waiver and understand the risks of participating in the Activities at Bikram Yoga Yorktown Your signature, electronic signature or clicking 'I Agree’, and your participation in the classes at Bikram Yoga Yorktown ilustrates your voluntary participation and assumption of the risks of the Activities.   Release, Waiver and Indemnity. You hereby release Bikram Yoga Yorktown, its members, directors, officers, employees, administrators, family members and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from any liability and damages arising from death or personal injuries, including the contraction of COVID-19 however caused including as a result of Bikram Yoga Yorktown negligence, during your participation at Bikram Yoga Yorktown. You are releasing the Released Parties at your own risk and you agree to forfeit any and all forms of legal recourse including but not limited to any form of damages, as a result of your participation in the Activities. You agree that these provisions above apply to you, your family, heirs, executors or anyone else who may be able to bring a legal action on your behalf in the future.  Jurisdiction. This Waiver will be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of New York.  This Waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and replaces any prior agreements. We agree that this may be signed electronically or by having you click “I Agree”. By signing below, you agree that you have read this Waiver and fully understand its contents and voluntarily agree to be bound to all of it.

HOT ROOM ETIQUETTE: MAKE SURE YOU COME HYDRATED.  BRING YOGA MAT, TOWEL AND WATER. ALL AVAILABLE FOR RETAL/PURCHASE. IF YOU NEED RENTALS PLEASE  PAY FIRST AT THE FRONT DESK. THESE HAVE AN EXTRA CHARGE AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN ANY PACKAGES.  ARRIVE ON TIME, DOORS OPEN APPROXIMATELY 15 MINS BEFORE CLASS TIME. IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE EARLY, LET INSTRUCTOR KNOW. DO NOT MAKE THIS A HABBIT. FIND ANOTHER CLASS TIME THAT FITS YOUR SCHEDULE.  BOTH WARM UP AND COOL DOWN PART OF CLASS ARE IMPORTANT. PLAN ON STAYING FOR THE FULL LENGHT OF CLASS. BEGINNING TO END. REMEMBER THAT FINAL SAVASANA/RELAXATION IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS. RELAX AND BREATH FOR AT LEAST 2 MINUTES BEFORE YOU GET UP AND LEAVE.  LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTOR/TEACHER. DO NOT DO YOUR OWN THING OR MAKE UP MOVEMENTS. IF YOU NEED TO MODIFY, ASK INSTRUCTOR BEFORE OR AFTER CLASS AND LET THEM KNOW OF ANY CONCERNS AND LIMITATIONS YOU MAY HAVE. WHEN WE ARE IN THE HOT ROOM, WE ARE MOVING & BREATHING TOGETHER, COLLECTIVELY. DOING YOUR OWN THING IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO THE INSTRUCTOR/TEACHER AND THOSE AROUND YOU.  WHEN YOU LEAVE THE ROOM AFTER CLASS IS OVER. DO SO QUIETLY AND BE MINDFUL OF THOSE AROUND YOU.  THERE IS NO TALKING IN THE HOT ROOM BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER CLASS. THE HOT ROOM IS OUR QUIET SPACE. AGAIN BE MINDFUL OF THOSE AROUND YOU.  NOT ELECTRONICS - THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SCAPE AND DISCONNECT FROM REALITY. ALLOW THIS TIME TO BE YOURS. NO TEXTING , NO PHONE CALLS, NO POSTING/INSTAGRAM DURING CLASS. THIS IS YOUR TIME. LEAVE YOUR PHONE IN YOUR CAR OR BAG. IF YOU MUST BRING IT INTO THE ROOM MAKE SURE IS ON SILET AND DO NOT LOOK AT IT OR USE IT DURING CLASS!!!!  NO BAGS. LEAVE YOU BAG IN THE LOCKER ROOMS. JUST BRING YOUR MAT, TOWEL & WATER IN THE HOT ROOM.  AFTER CLASS, IF YOU NEED TO SPRAY/CLEAN YOUR MAT. DO SO OUTSIDE OF THE HOT ROOM IN OUR LOBBY. NOT INSIDE THE HOT ROOM. YOGA BOLSTERS ARE ONLY FOR NON-HEATED CLASSES . SUCH AS; SOUND BATHS MEDITATION / YIN, REIKI & SOUND. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR YOGA GEAR AT THE STUDIO. PLEASE TAKE ALL YOUR GEAR WITH YOU. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING LEFT BEHIND. AFTER CLASS IF YOU USE OUR LOCKER ROOMS: CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR SELF AND BE MINDFUL OF HOW MUCH PAPER TOWEL YOU USE.    LAST, BE HERE, BE PRESENT.
