About the Class

The journey through pregnancy is a time of unique physical, mental + spiritual transformation. These classes will include seated and standing poses to strengthen and stretch the body, while providing relief from common discomforts during pregnancy. Explore breathing techniques and relaxation/meditations that can help ease the anxiety of labor + delivery. Support, strengthen and nourish your body as you make your way into motherhood. Form a deeper connection to your body and with your baby. Community is so valuable - connect with other mamas-to-be! No prior yoga experience necessary. A little about Lisa!!: I am a mom of two. I have a four + five year old. I practiced different styles of yoga through both of my pregnancies. The prenatal classes that I took had such an incredible impact on my well-being and in preparing me for labor + delivery that I knew I wanted to share this with other women. I am a 500RYT, RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher). What does mean? In addition to my 500 hours of training in vinyasa-style yoga, I completed 85 hours focusing on prenatal and postpartum health. I’ve taken additional courses locally and nationally led by yoga instructors and doulas. I am also a certified Birth Doula.   * Props will be used in this class. For further comfort we encourage you to bring a pillow case to cover the bolsters while in class.
