Instructor
Strongsville Modern Yoga
I started practicing yoga at a time when I was heavily training (running) and was looking for an additional workout. I’m grateful for the close friend who brought me to many classes with her, because I ended up finding that workout and so much more. I’ve been practicing at Modern Yoga since the very beginning (2016), and loved it so much I worked front desk and now teach for them! This practice has taught me how to truly be mindful and aware of my body while exercising, and also at rest. My mindset has gone from taking every pose to its deepest expression (sometimes forcefully), to letting my breath guide me and find the posture I need on that day. Yoga has given me a sense of balance during times of stress, throughout injuries, and even in times of happiness. Yoga has also provided me with an exercise that I can safely perform throughout my entire life. In my classes you will hear a lot about the breath, alignment, and incorporating mobility exercises. During my studies I have realized how common poor mobility and functionality is, so my goal is to teach in a way that will help others improve on their functionality, while giving them a sense of mindfulness. In addition to being a yoga instructor, I’m a Certified Exercise Physiologist, Cross Country Coach, and have a MS in Applied Exercise Science. "I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and helping you live a healthy and more functional life.”Natalie RYT-200, CEP, MSSign for a class up today!
