Jessica Eckart, E-RYT-500, C-IAYT Jessica's journey with yoga began in 2000, and since then, it has blossomed into a lifelong passion. She believes that yoga is a powerful tool for cultivating a deeper connection between mind, body, and breath. To Jessica, yoga is far more than just physical movement; it's a practice of mindfulness, teaching her to embrace each day as a new beginning and to live with intention and presence. Her goal as a teacher is to share yoga in a way that is supportive, encouraging, and accessible to all. Jessica believes that if you can breathe, you can do yoga.In 2016, Jessica completed her 200-hour Hatha Alignment Yoga Teacher Training with HeartSong Yoga. She furthered her education in 2019 with a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training at YoYo Yogi in Portland, Oregon. In January 2023, Jessica became a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) after training with Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, CA. She is also a certified Yoga 4 Cancer teacher.Currently, Jessica is deepening her practice by studying Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga, and is excited to integrate this wisdom into her teaching.Jessica teaches a variety of styles, including Hatha, Yin, Gentle, Restorative, and Chair yoga, each class designed to meet students where they are and guide them towards a deeper sense of balance and well-being. Outside of teaching, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and connecting with nature. She also enjoys making soap, candles, and fermenting.Jessica Eckart, E-RYT-500, C-IAYT
