Online class. Yin yoga is a meditative deep stretch practice of long-held postures (mostly seated or laying down). It is appropriate for beginners and seasoned yogis alike. It can be a stand-alone practice or it is great to complement the more Yang (vinyasa or flow) style of yoga. We hold each posture for 1 - 5 minutes using props to help support and reach the deeper connective tissues. This class assists the body in becoming more flexible and energizing the organ meridians. Most postures target the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and spine.
This is an oline class. Zoom link will be emailed to you, you will be admitted into class a few minutes before start time. You can also gain access to the class in the Achieve App through the My Schedule tab. If you use yoga props, please gather them.
