I originally came in, like most people, because a friend convinced me to try this crazy ass hot yoga. She was a Karma Yogi at the time and the studio was having a great deal for the month of February (30 days unlimited yoga for you and a friend for $30). I left my first class asking myself what I just did and then came back 30 days in a row.This practice and this studio have changed my life completely. Through this 90 minute open-eyed meditation I have been able to overcome lifelong depression, anxiety, and back pain, and I’m able to identify with certainty the things that do and do not make me happy and whole. This yoga and this studio have been with me when I felt my lowest, when I felt like I was going to give up, when I felt like no one and nothing could help me, and here I am. I wouldn’t be here without this yoga.
