I found solace and strength through yoga, after years of searching for my just-right activity. My yoga mat has become a place where I have found clarity, accept challenges and have noticed growth. After relocating to Rhode Island, I became part of the RIHY community which has deepened my practice while finding connection with others who practice!Recognizing the positive impact of yoga, I obtained my 200-hour certificate in 2021. Now, I passionately integrate yoga into my career by guiding my middle school students, local dancers, and supporting summer programs with yoga. Teaching yoga has become one of the most empowering choices I have made. Observing people begin their practice and grow into each branch of yoga, from asana to meditation and beyond, is incredibly inspiring. With a desire to share the calming and caring benefits of yoga, I am excited to extend my practice to a wider audience, welcoming adults on a journey to wellness.Outside of yoga studio, I am a middle school educator and enjoy taking care of my pets and houseplants, spending time with family, traveling and the occasional hike!
