Our “Hot Yoga” classes are heated to around 99ºF, with a myriad of benefits to the body and mind. Heated Yoga has been proven to help release toxins from the body, including heavy metals; as well as increase circulation; boost the immune system; increase the metabolism; and support the lymphatic system. Hot Yoga can also help prevent injuries, as the muscles become more supple in the heat. A dehumidifier is used to reduce moisture in the air, making the heat dry and comfortable. Sculpt Yoga is essentially yoga with small hand weights. Students will be led through a vinyasa-style flow, and the use of hand weights will be incorporated in. The benefits are numerous, from an increase strength and stamina, which naturally boosts the metabolism, and supports other body systems, such as the endocrine system, immune system, and lymphatic system. Hand weights are available for use at the studio! Our “Power Flow” classes are an upbeat, vinyasa-style yoga, with a focus on stamina and strength, alongside breathing. Power Flow begins with centering, which includes bringing awareness to the breath, and then moves into a flow that is slightly faster in pace, balancing between continuous movement and longer holds. Power Flow is accessible to all levels of practice, as modifications are offered alongside challenges, and is a perfect way to help stimulate the metabolism and awake the mind, body, and soul!
