In this Vinyasa Flow Yoga class, the practice is not just the poses but also the in-between parts—the way one moves to and transitions from pose to pose. The pace is steady but not rushed, and the breathing is synchronized to the rhythm of the music, sometimes an accompaniment, sometimes a backdrop. Expect a class that is accessible to all levels, but that elicits some healthy challenge, particularly in the way it engages the core and also incorporates standing balances. The practice will begin with breathwork and warm-ups, followed by postures that require balance, stability, and concentration—nothing too crazy, but just the right amount of challenge for a class. We will wind down with restorative poses and finish in a longer-than-usual savasana, allowing you to soak in all the good feelings. Main Points: No prior experience is necessary. Levels can be modified to accommodate any skill level. - The main aim is breath-to-movement synchronization. - This practice will improve your flexibility, strength, and mindfulness. - It's taught from warm-up to cool-down, with options for deep relaxation. - You can access it live or recorded, so there is no need to travel to a studio.
