About the Class

Core and Balance is an all levels yoga class that focuses on building strength in the core of the body and improving balance through asana. The muscles that make up your core stabilize your whole body, providing your center of gravity when you’re moving or at rest. This is especially important in balancing postures, where the integrity of the posture is dependent on the ability to keep a straight spine. Without even realizing it, you use your core strength to walk, sit, stand, and for most other motions.
