This class is designed for the functional athlete that needs to recover from work in the gym as well as the the average person who just needs to counter the effects of sitting at a desk. There will be dynamic stretching, mobility work, long holds and strengthening of both traditional and non-traditional yoga poses. Yoga for athletes is appropriate for both beginners and more seasoned yogis looking for less flow and more stretch. This class will help to improve range of motion, balance, and understanding of physical limitations. Each class will incorporate breathing, stretching, stabilization and core work.
